The message in this song is something I think a lot of us need to hear. "God Only Knows" is a song about how even if others don't know what you're going through, there is One that does know what you're going through. God knows. God knows the real you. God loves you and cares about you so much. He alone knows what you're going through. When nobody else understands, He does.
